We at SecurityFocus experienced a major mail outage last night and this
morning, from about 17h00 until about 0830 Mountain Standard Time (-0700
GMT). As a result, mail was lost to /dev/null and all posts to
Security-Basics lists and users during this time are unrecoverable. This
is entirely due to administrator error at SF and was not a security
breach; we will have a public flogging of the offending administrator in
the SF offices at high noon today and I am sure to attend. :-) Basically,
a spam script for our MTA went awry.

If you have sent any mail to SF staff or to any of our 29 mailing lists,
including Security-Basics from 17h00 MST (-0700 GMT) until 08h30 his
morning, please resend your post. Thanks, and sincere apologies for the
    inconveninece.
