    I think this conversation has been touched upon yesterday. Anyway here
    goes again: Try to get some practical experience first and foremost. As
    for certs there is a mix of conceptual vs practical on the security
    scene.

    Take a look at:

    1. CCIE Security - www.cisco.com/education - hands-on techie security
    2. Expert Security Associates (ESA) - www.securityassociate.org -
    practical hacking, forensics and design
    3. CISSP - www.isc2.org - conceptual management level, maybe in a few
    years.

    MCP in windows 2000 and i am currently studying to become a CCNA and

    Where should i go from here? can you point out some other certifications

    around available that should help me in this IT Security area?
