Sr. Execs are probably researching companies to buy or the company that
plans to buy them. They don't want any insider trading information
running around, or they look at pictures of naked sheep, who knows these
    days.

I recommended that a group like that use their own private dial-up
accounts when they needed to do something private and by no means be
connected to the main network when doing so. It was such a pain for them
to actually figure out what to do, and they would never admit they
didn't know HOW to use a private account, that they decided it wasn't
that big of a deal after all and they would just have to trust IS
Security not to invest in their takeover prospect.

Does your firewall/logging system have the ability to "ignore" certain
internal IP addresses and not log them? That is probably your best bet
rather than addng something on the desktop. You may want to configure
their browsers to hold a small cache and delete it at program close so
there is minimal browsing residue on the desktop.
