    Subject: IDS Recommendation
    Hi
We are thinking about outsourcing our Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
function. Our security group currently is not doing this...but our CIO
would like to implement this process towards the end of this year. We
    just
do not have the resources within our security group to do...our plate is
    too
    full.
Anybody using a managed IDS Service that they are happy with and would
recommend to me? There are lots of companies that do this....(yes...I
    did
google search thing). I just want some personal recommendations...so I
    can
start my short list...and reduce some of the fluff from salesman. My
    budget
is in the 150K range. We are a unix and win2k mixed platform shop.
