    there's always a way you can modify data in a windows system.
    just think of remote modifying via active x and so on...

    i think this doesn't matter here. asked for a secure internet cafe client,
    i just can recommened linux in a kiosk. give the user quotas or just a ramdisk
    to write in.

    if not me, someone else could. but I think you got to show me the nt/2000
    system, that's not beeing modifyable.

    and what's more an issue: you'll need much more time to make nt as secure
    as linux is per default...
    but i don't want to open linux vs. windos flame war once more...
