ALTEON AD3 password recovery

Dear friends,

maybe this is not the right place to start, but I've searched through Google
and found nothing.

I forgot the Administration password I have in my ALTEON AD3.
How can I reset the device so that I can enter the default "admin" password
and configure it again?
Is there anything I should do in the hardware?
Should I do it by the serial console?
