Hi
I and my colleagues are having a small spot of bother convincing management
to invest in a BCP and DR plan. At the moment, off site backup tapes, UPS,
and a generator is about as far as it goes, no testing has taken place. Can
anyone recommend any literature with guidance to make a business case for
this?
Can anyone provide me with any statistics or good examples of a company who
has been crippled, or nearly, by a disasterous event that was not adequately
planned for. 9/11 excepted although any stats for that would be gratefully
received.
At the moment, there is the belief that "it wont happen to us"
Thanks in advance, and keep up the "good" work
JM
