You need to find out which ports and protocols reuters and bloomberg operate
on. Then open those ports on the firewall to allow access. I wouldn't use
the router based firewall unless you get one with stateful packet
inspection.

Subject: Firewall for Reuters or Bloomberg
Hello all,
I have Reuters and Bloomberg realtime datafeed application
which go thru our LAN. I need to put a firewall in between. Is there
any specific issues for me to consider? Have anyone implemented something
similar?
I am looking at router based and PC based firewall at the moment.
Any suggestion will help a lot! The Security admin is on my back
every minute..
Thanks
Kuzek
