Hi,
I'm using PGP (downloadable from www.pgpi.com) just fine under windows
XP. When you install, you need to be sure that you do *not* set up the
PGPnet service. It is used to encrypt network connections using a VPN and do
intrusion detection, but it really hosed my XP box when I tried it. However,
the email encryption part works wonderfully. I've also heard that the GnuPG
has some nice GUI plugins that integrate into Outlook and other programs,
but I haven't tried it.
