Why don't you splice the wire and run a dupe of transmissions to a
passively listening computer? Of course, this would be one to one, so you
probably wouldn't like it (and you might need an amplifier, now that I
think about it). How much data are we talking? I can think of custom
"black box" solutions, but they would be cost-prohibitive if you're
cataloguing tons of data.
