Good Morning all,
What about using M.S. SMS or an equivelant product to scan all the
machines on your network. I have also found a product called SMP from a
down load site. SMP is very similar to SMS with out the price tag. Both
give a read out of all the hardware and drivers on the remote machines.
Both can be set up to be server delivered at logon. SMP has a silent
install.

Hi Harish,
Here are some tools that can perform automated deployment of OS/application
patches. Most of the them are Windows based tools.
Intel LANDesk
ConfigureSoft
Shavlik AdminSuite
MS HFNetCheck
Regarding your question on the modems, so far the only method that I know of
is by using a wardialer (but as you mentioned it is probably not practical
in your environment)
It would be interesting to find out from the others what other methods are
available for searching for roque modems.
