I agree with Bill. HR people just do not understand
that paper certs are useless unless the individual has
the experience to go along with the paper certs,

You gotta get an interview with IT folks. Use your
resume to get your foot in the door. Once you get in
the door, get an interview with the CIO or other IT
person.

This is where the rubber meets the road. Most IT types
understand the difference between experience and paper
certs very well. If you know your stuff, you'll get
hired.

Certs are great. But experience is more important. Get
your certs AFTER you get some experience and you'll do
fine in your next interview.

As far as resumes go...spelling counts BIG. Run your
spell checker over your resume before sending it to an
employer.

That's my 2 cents.
