Hi,
I just came across a site called Internet Security Alliance which is a
company that sells security software including a firewall. They have a
downloadable utility called PCAudit which is an .exe file capable of sending
personal info like username and the contents of My Documents to my browser.
I tested it on a Win2000 pc with Zonealarm Pro installed and set to maximum
security. I am curious to hear some feedback on whether PCAudit shows real
vulnerabilities or if the reason it is able to access/send such info is
because it is an exe program that is sending info from the inside out,
making it a risk only if I or a cracker ran such a program from the
'inside'. Make sense?
Thanks!
