I use the sygate firewall (freeware version) at home and I find that is great
for my own needs but I don't recommend it for inexperienced users or for
corporate use. It has a good packet analyzer and logging utility - perhaps the
full version has the other features you are looking for.

I'm looking at personal firewalls for my laptop users.
Optimally, here's what I think I'd like to see:

1. Good logging
2. Central or remote management
3. Good granularity (ie. able to stop icmp echo-
   request, but not dest-unreach
4. Lock down (ie. Users can't make changes to their
   rulebase)

I'm not sure if this actually exists. I'm hoping
someone here can tell me if it does. Thanks.
