Hi,
I'm trying to hide the smtp server version information from the public. I'm
using Netscape Messaging server. I've managed to hide the smtp server
version from the smtp header by editing the relavant binary file. But still,
when a security scan is done by a security team, they are able to get the
smtp version. How they would have done it? They are not ready to disclose
how they manged to get it. I've disabled the 'help' also.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Augustine Joseph
