What OS? Do you mean tcp?
One possibility is netsaint_statd - a perl
script used by Netsaint to monitor remote hosts. I believe its default
listen is on 1040/tcp. Try http://www.netsaint.org/
1114 (SQL) was part of sscan script but I haven't used it in a long time
so I don't know if that's still true, don't know about 1116.
