Actually Citrix doesn't work like Terminal Services but is based on
those. It is a extension to it. Also, it is thought to be used a base
for server based computing and is rather expensive to be used as a
remote management tool. Over here we use Terminal Services (in
Administrative Mode), Netop and PcAnywhere. Terminal Services work for
all normal work you have to do (user creation, password changes, etc.)
Sometimes you need access to the console. Then either Netop is used (if
we can persuade the customer to buy it, or PcAnywhere if the customer
prefers it.

if youre going to run W2K...
Terminal Services are better than most 3rd party tools. Its quick,
reliable, stable and "quite" safe to work with it over the internet,
even a 56k Modem has enough speed to work without major lags.
If you want to make it safer think about implementing a vpn solution to
access your Terminal Server or similar
Regards,
Igor
