You can cheat and have up to 2 connections to a server with different
credentials - but only if you use the command line to establish the other
connection. You will need the IP address of the server and use it like
this:

net use \\<ip address of server>\ipc$ * /user:<userid>

after that command completes successfully you can them map a drive and it
will use the credentials you supplied above for that connection.

net use x: \\<ip address of server>\<sharename>

I don't believe there is anything you can do about this. Windows
networking in general does not allow more than one user to connect from any
given machine.
