You can get around this by making a connection to the IP address. For
example, if you are connected to SYSTEM as USER, try connecting 192.168.1.1
(SYSTEM's IP address) as 'otherusername'.

You can't map drives using DIFFERENT credentials to the SAME server.
i.e. you have ANOTHER drive mapped using credentials different from
'otherusername' to 'otherhostname'.

Hi,

Upon hitting the following command :
" Net use z: \\otherhostname\resourcename$ * /user:otherusername "
I only get: " System error 1219 has occured. The credentials supplied
conflict
with an existing set of credentials. "
My whole net exists of NT4.0 . I try to login as one user and assign
myself another user's resource,
using the right password. any suggestion ?

thx
centipede
