TP you are incorrect...

NT uses named pipes, hence you can connect to the same server as many
times as the number of unique names it has, for example you can use:

1. netbios name (computer)
2. hostname (computer.co.uk)
3. IP address (10.10.10.10)

which all point to the same machine, but as far as NT is concerned
they are unique.
