Re: Split Kismet log file

Try:

tcpdump -r <your log file> -s 0 -w prefix -C 2

which will split your capture into 2meg chunks named prefix1, prefix2, etc. Alternatively, if you have editcap (which comes with wireshark) you can do:

editcap -c 10000 <your log file> prefix

to create files containing 10000 packets each named prefix-00000, prefix-00001, etc.
