Letter of Service Authorization for PenTest (EU Specific)

Hi list,

Does anyone know if a specific "Letter of Service Authorization"
exists for penetration testing projects in the EU.

Any help would be much appreciated regarding the laws and regulations
(especially the EU Data Protection Directive) that may require a
specific letter of service authorization.
