"show mac-address-table" will give you a list of ethernet addresses and
what port they're on. If you don't know your mac, "sh arp" might give
it to you, just ping your IP first, presuming you're on a local
subnet...
If you're unexperienced, be careful setting up span ports - do it wrong
on a production switch and there's a good chance you'll take down the
network. Might wanna go rent out a ccie lab online for a few hours to
putz around with, first.

Hi,
I'm pen-testing a network and i've already gained access to a Cisco
switch in certain VLAN; i'm stucked in getting a SPAN port in the
physical port where i'm attached or changing that port to a different
VLAN; "show interfaces fastethernet" doesn't work, and "show
interfaces" just output the MAC address of the VLAN, but i can't find
the way to correlate IP (mine) with the physical port (Fa0/3 i.e.).
Some idea?
Thanks,
Eduardo.
