Ya, grab a bluetooth adapter (preferably one that has a flip up
external antenna) and a high gain external antenna. Solder the antenna
connector to the one on the adapter (after removing the built-in one)
and all you need is software after that.

Other that bluesnarfing for pen testing a Bluetooth device, what hardware would i need to pick up the bluetooth signal? would i need to look into finding a reciever for my laptop?
