I would like to make mention to readers of a new release of Inprotect.
If you are not familiar with the application, it is a web based front
end to the open source Nessus and NMAP scanners, and a little bit more.
Inprotect allows automated scheduled scans, with results saved in a
MySQL Database. Reports can be generated as PDF files, or viewed online
as a dynamic HTML page.
The new version fixes existing bugs, and also brings compatability with
Nessus release 2.2.x
Inprotect is 100% open source / GPL and available for download at
Sourceforge, or via the inprotect website at http://www.inprotect.com/
