I have faced some weird problems with retina too. I
stoped one scan before it can complete (abort option)
and since then retina became unusable. As soon as I
start Retina on my test machine now it show in the
status bar *Processing Records ####* and it goes on
processing records.. i dunno how many max records it
will process but i have seen it going @ 18xx records
and after that the program becomes non-responding and
i have to kill the task. I don;t seem to like this new
5.x version... i loved 4.x series.
Though in any of the cases it did not harm the local
machine just the box it was running from.
