    Hi folks!

    The complete rewrite of hydra and a month of beta testing is completed -
    and ready to download from thc.org!

    What is hydra?
    --------------
    Hydra is a password cracker for many, many network protocols.
    The first release was in August 2000, where now in February 2004
      the tool is still not only fully supported but also being expanded.
    Current supported protocols:
      telnet ftp pop3 imap smb smbnt http https http-proxy cisco sapr3 ssh2
      cisco-enable cisco-aaa ldap ms-sql mysql nntp vnc rexec socks5 icq pcnfs
    Hydra is included in Nessus, and voted into the Top-50 security tool list.

    What are the changes in v4?
    ---------------------------
    * 20% faster, more reliable, better code and smilies everywere :-)
    * new modules: SAP R/3, SSH2 and MS-SQL, and many fixes and enhancements
      to the previous ones
    * beside the source code release - which compiles on all Unix platform -
      there are binary releases for:
       - Windows release (cygwin compile with all necessary dll's)
       - PalmOS/PalmPilot release
       - ARM processor release (Zaurus, iPaq etc.)
    * load balancing when attacking multiple servers, detecting maximum connect
      numbers, etc.
    * well and a lot of more stuff. read the README
