Depends,
On what OS you're using but netstumbler for windows or kismet 4 linux
allows for device id, mac, and SSID. Linux has more free wep cracking
utils. Google searches 4 the afore mentioned should get the resource
locations.

could some experts provide some guides/docs and tools to conduct a
proper wireless pen-test. I hv read thru OSSTMM wireless security
testing and need something more hands-on approach of conducting
pen-test.
