I have read in many articles that the difference between being a Power user and an administrator is marginal and that once you are a power user becoming an administrator is trivial.

Can some people on this list outline some techniques applicable to Windows XP that will allow this.

I have been playing around for a bit and it doesn't seem as easy as the literature makes out.

    Thanks.
