    The answer depends largely upon what you want out of it, and what your current level of knowledge is.

    As an introductory course that will give you a good idea of the breadth of things you need to learn to do professional testing, it is a good course. As training for the CEH, it is a great course. These are especially true if you have some knowledge, but want to know what areas to concentrate on.

    This course will NOT make you a "hacker." Being a hacker has a lot to do with personal interest, inclination, desire, and hard work. But it will help you learn to be a "professional hacker", in the sense that you will learn things about how to be thorough, and how to do it as a business.
