    Hi Colin,

    I work for Blade and just thought I would give you a quick bit of info on the
    product,

    Firewall Informer was purpose built to test firewall rule sets, which it does by
    replaying protocol traffic between two network cards on a Windows PC. Both
    network cards are stealthed and are able to communicate with each other without
    any protocols bound to either interface.

    Effectively the application allows you to simulate a true client / server
    communication stream simulating any source and destination ip address replaying
    protocol traffic using any port information. You are also able to control the
    speed of throughput, indicate if you think a check should succeed or fail, this
    is really useful if you want to test your firewall policy and the inverse of it.
