The ISS Scanner once got blamed for causing a user's CD to wobble, which
worked the cable loose, which cause motherboard hiccups. The user
insisted that the scanner was "abusing her system".
Ask him to set up a controlled repro, and make sure you bet him a 6 of
good beer over whether it repros. >8-)
