Hi,
Solaris 10 implement NFS version 4 and uses the well-defined port 2049, thus improving firewall support.
Best regards,

Objet : **SPAM** ipf and NIS
Hello,
Anyone know if I can make the nis services bind
to specific ports only? (ypserv, ypbind etc.)
Solaris 9,10
The object is to restrict access with the ipf firewall.
Regards
Kapetanakis Giannis
