    Hi folks,

I'm writing to bid you all farewell. After 3 and one-half years
of work and list moderation here with SecurityFocus, today is my
final day with the company. After much soul-searching, I've opted
to take a position in the Middle East, and will be relocating there
    within the next few months.

We've had some really good discussions here, and have all been able
to learn from one another. I've been graced with exchanging e-mail
with many of you, and have had the pleasure to even get to know
some of you at more than just a list-member level. I want to
express my sincerest gratitude to all of you for your participation
    in the list forums.

I am comfortable with this changing of the guard, as I've been able
to select my successors. I'm leaving the management of the lists
in the hands of not one, but two moderators. It has actually been
them that have been running the lists for the last couple weeks, as
they've been attempting to get comfortable with the natural flow of
    things.

I leave the lists in the hands of Bartek Kostanecki, and Jason
Miller. Where as I am a member of the Symantec Vulnerability
Analyst team, Bartek and Jason are both members of the Symantec
ARIS team. I've had the pleasure of working with them extensively,
and gotten to know them both personally. They are two gentlemen
who stand out in their respective field, and have earned my trust.
In short, I am leaving the lists in good hands.

It has been a pleasure and an honor serving you all as your
moderator. Thank you all for your participation, opinions, and
professionalism. Fair winds, and following seas!

    Sincerely,
    Hal Flynn
