    syslog-ng does all this. Probably the best source for loganalysis
    information (including syslog servers) is the "Log Anaysis Resources"
    page at: <URL:http://www.counterpane.com/log-analysis.html> ...it's the
    companion site to the loganalysis mailing list. That's certainly a good
    list to be on if you're intested in such things - and when it gets going
    there are some really interesting things said there.
