    MailScanner (http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/) in conjunction
with McAfee/NAI virus scanner is what I've been using for over a year now
and it's worked beautifully. It plugs easily into Sendmail, and also has
some extra spam-catching capabilities when tied in with SpamAssassin
    (which I also use).
