Hi all,
As part of an audit, we discovered the following services were enabled in
our etc/inetd.conf file:
Sun Server AIX Server
xaudio bootps
printer
rquotad/1
dtspc
comsat
100235/1
100232/10
100083/1
Subsequently, it was noted that none of these services were required for
any of the systems running and therefore could be disabled to enhance our
security. However, I've been trying to get some specific information on
each of these services and some of the risks associated with having them
enabled and haven't had much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on
some good references or know any specifics about any of these services?
Thanks in Advance for any help,
Kate
