Hi Yannick, hi all,
to check IP settings on a SUN/Solaris 2.x system you can use the ndd utility (see man ndd) or use the /etc/system file.(personally i prefer ndd.)
To get a list of available parameters for e.g. IPv4 type
ndd /dev/ip ?
This will give you a list of all known parameters.
e.g. 'ndd /dev/ip ip_forward_src_routed' will check the status of forwarding source routed packages. To alter settings use the ndd -set parameter.
