Subject: RPCSEC_GSS and NIS etc

After long time spent by reading documentation it seems to me that the
only
existing service that could take advantage of using RPCSEC_GSS (for
example, if
I have SEAM installed) is NFS.

What about other RPC-based services? NIS, NIS+, rpc.rstatd ?
Or all applications need to be rewritten with new API?
