primes file in openssh?

Does anybody know what the primes file is used for in openssh? it goes in the etc dir for the package. the first line looks like this:

# Time Type Tests Tries Size Generator Modulus

so i dont get it, if anybody does know, thanks. fresh build, 2.9p2, solaris 8, using /dev/random (from SKI software, SUNWski) aka cryptorand.
