    Well, personally I've yet to hear an explanation why any server
    shouldn't have a properly configured AV client. It's true some services
    make it more difficult and require file exclusion (like Domain
    Controllers, some database server applications, etc) but I've never seen
    a compelling argument to not install an AV client altogether.

    Should IIS have anti-virus installed on them. I know I would do it for a
    fileserver but for IIS, I rather lock it down.
