Ah, you're right. So only versions released 4.4 and later (which is not
out yet?) will work with SP1. Thanks for the clarificiation.

    Andrew.

You need to check your facts. You are confusing the Dell Server
Assistant with Dell Open Manage. As we speak Open Manage is at version
    4.3.

The following is taking directly from Dell's web site and is quite
clear. Thanks to Anthony Di Salvo for the link.

Does Dell OpenManage Suite Support SP1?

"In order to support the new enhancements and features in Windows Server
2003 Service Pack 1, Dell plans to release Dell OpenManage version 4.4,
including Dell Server Assistant version 8.6, to fully support Service
    Pack 1."

"Dell OpenManage version 4.4 is the first version that supports SP1.
Make sure you upgrade your OpenManage to version 4.4 before installing
SP1. Dell plans to release version 4.4 in late May 2005."

OpenManage is in the 8.x release. Update your OpenManage, since this
issue only exists with releases back in the 4.x range.
