    This is easy to fix - re-join the domain.

    First make sure you know the computer's *local* administrator password -
    you MUST know this or you'll be in big trouble.

    Login as the local administrator, right-click on My Computer, then
    Properties, then click the Computer Name tab. Click the [Change] button
    and use it to leave the domain and join a workgroup (say, "WORKGROUP").
    It will insist that you reboot.

    When the computer comes back, do this again but this time join the
    domain (you'll be prompted for the domain admin account when you do).
    This also demands a reboot, but it should work fine after that.
