    Third party developers are able to report themselves to WSC. For a more
    thorough description, please see the following document:

    Another FAQ has a partial list of supported firewalls, see the question
    "I have Windows XP. Can I use a firewall other than the built-in
    firewall?" This is not a definitive list, but it is a start:

    Hi list,

    I would just like to find out if there is a list of
    products that are recognised as Antivirus software and
    Firewalls inside WSC. For example, Norton AV is
    recognised but Sygate is not. I can't seem to find any
    information regarding this in microsoft.com. If any of
