Hello all,
we are starting a windows xp + sp1 rollout, the actually installed client os
is windows nt 4.0 + sp6 and we are still in a windows nt domain (what will
change somewhen this year). Is there a way to make an entry in the event log
if an user connects an usb memory stick (or any other usb device) to the
client. We don't want to disable the feature in general because we also
would benefit from it. I think in the list sometimes applications were
discussed, which can handle the installation of new devices - how is the
handling of this tools or do they create more problems than they solve? We
have about 2000 clients and so a tool like this should be managed centrally.
Thanks,
Thomas
