If you're really desperate, you can try PSKill, included in the PSTools
suite (http://www.sysinternals.com). There are quite a few neat little
command line utilities included in the suite that allow more powerful
windows process management. As an added bonus, you can also use these
tools on remote computers without the need for terminal services or
    VNC.

In my experience PSKill will shut down just about any process dead in
its tracks instantly. Be careful about what you use this on, it can
cause problems if the process is currently writing to disk or performing
some other critical operation. Stopping from the windows service
manager will stop the process gracefully, but if all else fails PSkill
    _will_ shut it down.

    Craig

Hi, I suddenly met this problem, not sure how to solve it.

Some of my services cannot be started and the status is shown
    "stopping",
then I try to use "net stop", but it returned the
following message. Could anyone suggest any solutions for this?

    Thanx
