    First off, IANAL(NDIPOONTV). I'm also speaking for myself here, and not
    as a representative of my company in any way, shape, or form.

    These articles provide some information:

    <http://www.infoworld.com/article/02/09/13/020916opwinman_1.html>
    <http://www.informit.com/isapi/product_id~%7BC92092FF-8F75-4720-9C0C-F05
    37F9AF1AF%7D/element_id~%7B4CA630A1-7F09-4033-AB56-51B013A1B867%7D/st~%7
    B9508C006-DD59-4F5D-8316-0AFDB0EA806C%7D/content/articlex.asp>

    I found them by entering 'HIPAA SP3' into Google. There's a ton of
    other stuff out there as well. Note that I used the word 'possible' and
    not 'guaranteed' in my e-mail as well. I don't have documentation of a
    Microsoft backdoor, or any proof - just that the language of the license
    itself may possibly be incompatible with HIPAA, and possibly 21CFR11.
    Actually, on reflection, I might be wrong about 21CFR11.

    Thanks,
    Thane

    A claim like this requires a specific quote to support it. Could you
    please
    indicate where you got this information from?

    Thanks,
    Chuck
