have you run "strings" on 'em to see if you get anything interesting?

Where are they running from on the machine? (I assume <OS
Root>\winnt\system32\). Have you done a Search on them?

I was wondering if anyone knows what these two Windows 2000 files are for:

    bmss.exe

    bmssldr.exe

When I get more information on bmss.exe, it tells me that it is

the "BMonitor Session Manager" from Microsoft. I have searched Microsoft,

Google, AntiOnline and others with no results.

The bmss.exe has opened a port on my server and I am curious as to what

these files are used for and if I can safely remove them from my servers.

    Thanks in advance,

    JG
