Laura provided the Microsoft options, you could also consider the use of SSH then use scp.exe to transfer files or SecureFX.

Or take a look at www.stunnel.org there may be other options for you there also.

You could even use cryptcat.exe to pass files and data. Although, I realize that is a bit risque. =-)

I am not sure what you need to do with this encrypted connection: administer or transfer files. If you send more details we should be able to give more specific advice.
