I have been using something called BCware
(http://www.bcwaresystems.com/nospam/) that does DNS lookups based on the
different blackhole lists provided by MAPS (http://mail-abuse.org/rbl),
SPAMHAUS, etc... on my Exchange 2k box since April with no problems. It also
allows you to a MX record lookup on the senders email domain and refuse if
the domain returns null.

From webpage:
"BCware NoSPAM is an SMTP proxy service designed for use with DNS based
anti-spam services (real-time black hole list, relay spam list, dialup user
list, etc) services such as RBL/DUL/RSS provided by MAPS
(http://mail-abuse.org/rbl) and other organizations. It is not a full SMTP
email server - rather it provides a complimentary "anti-SPAM" service which
can be used as a first line of defense against SPAM or other offensive email.
Note, NoSPAM is intended for use on Windows 2000 or XP systems only, it will
not function on Windows NT 4.0 or earlier versions of NT."

Oh, yes and one last thing... The product is currently free.

Thanks,
Craig

Subject: Good software against spam

Hi

Our customer have Sybari antigen and it's doing a very good job for
viruses... it's Content filtering feature also help for purging email with
subject like viagra, make a million etc

but our customer is receiving a lot of junk " porn " emAil from some
japannese company.... Always sent by different relay server.

What good product can filter spaming ? I would be interested in Gateway
